Michael Brassert, Director/Editor, is an accomplished director and film maker with 25 years’ experience directing and producing commercials, documentaries, special effects, and new media. As the head of his Manhattan-based production facility, Registered Films, he ran two stages, three non-linear editing suites, and an animation studio. Clients included Deloitte & Touche, Citibank, Adam Smith's Money World, and Comedy Central. Michael's done everything from directing $500,000 commercials for Mercedes Benz to shooting news footage in Afghanistan. Michael is hands-on with Houpla’s productions, directing, shooting, lighting, and editing.
